But it's not as simple as that. Psychic powers come from our brains and because they're a part of who we are, they change with us. So when we're sick or something or just...when we can't control ourselves, they can go out of control too. And it's a lot more dangerous because we're level 7.

Well, less dangerous when it's me but with Kaoru-chan...

...the last time we ran a simulation back home of what would happen if we just used our powers to their full extent, Kaoru-chan's simulation blew herself and a whole chunk of the city into rubble. She's worried that's going to happen.

But she also knows that Kaoru had enough to deal with, without having to worry that one of her best friends would be too close and too weak to get away if need be. Besides, she knew Jaune would help her and she couldn't put him in danger too.]
